Andrew Berwick, CSW, WSET-3		Andy Berwick, owner and winemaker at Chelham Creek Cellars, was raised in the Bay area near the great wine estates of Napa and Sonoma.  Born into a wine loving family, Andrew grew up tasting fine wines produced around the world. Moving to Santa Barbara in 1997, Berwick began working among Central Coast vintners and learning about the production of Rhone varietals. In 2002, he received his degree in Viticulture and Enology and produce his first commercial vintage Viognier under the label Chelham CreeK. The wine was sold almost exclusively to high end restaurants in Los Angeles. He is a UC Davis certified Wine Judge, and is a Certified Specialist of Wine through the Society of Wine Educators. He is also a participant in the Wine Spirit Educational Trust (WSET) diploma program and the Court of Master Sommeliers. Berwick is degreed in Wine Food pairing. He is one of 65 wine judges who judge annually at the California State Fair Wine Competition in Sacramento, California. Berwick also judges at the  Jerry D. Mead New World International Wine Competition. Mr. Berwick is also involved in creating consumer and professional trade tastings events for local and international importers, winemakers and organizations that want to expose their product to precise target markets.
Merri Reid Berwick, CSW		Merri Reid Berwick is a free lance wine and food writer, contributing regularly to various publications throughout the Central Coast of California. She holds a degree in Viticulture and Enology, and is co-owner of Chelham Creek Cellars, a small production label producing hand crafted Rhone varietals from Santa Barbara County. Ms Berwick is a credentialed wine educator through the Society of Wine Educators, and continues professional studies through the Wine Spirit Educational Trust in Napa. As a certified wine judge, Berwick judges wines at both the California State Fair Wine Competition in Sacramento and the New World International Wine Competition
